Chi-town's NEWEST shining STAR (Cierra King)

The number one question in Chicago is how do we stop youth/gang violence? Just about each year more then 20 Chicago Public School children are murdered. Chicago's religious, social, legal, and educational communities are trying their best to come up with solutions. Though the numbers of homicides in communities such as Austin, Lawndale, Garfield Park, Little Village, Pilsen, Humboldt Park, Logan Square, Englewood, Roseland, Grand Crossing are staggering we must continue to shine a light on people who are doing great things to combat the negatives of the above mentioned communities.

Such people as Cierra King a college grad that has decided to farther her education at Northern Illinois University Masters of Science in Education Administration/Counseling. Cierra has taken her gifts and life experiences to create a wonderful organization called Driven Hearts Incorporated. Please click the below link:

As we as a City and State continue to combat youth/gang violence, we should consider supporting organizations such as Driven Hearts Inc., not only because its the right thing to do, but also because the future of our youth depends on organizations like Driven Hearts. In the coming days Driven Hearts Incorporated will have an open house and fund-raiser gala... I'll be sure to keep you posted, until then please view their website. Many thanks,
