A few days ago I along with my wife traveled to Mount Rushmore. We drove from Chicago all the way to South Dakota (Custer State Park). We had an amazing experience. Me and my sweetheart often take road trips and visit various cities.

The open road and the feel of a new car each time we take a road trip feels wonderful. Plus driving and singing NEW JACK SWING music with the one you love is an amazing feeling a first class flight can't provide. I encourage every American to get out and see this beautiful country by way of our highways and byways.

You'll not only enjoy the scenery but you'll also learn new things. You'll see Native American territories. You'll see fantastic lakes, rivers and mountains. As a Chicagoan it's sometimes difficult to see how other Americans in various states and cities are living with very less crime...people are content with their surroundings and the thought of being shot by a gang banger's stray bullet isn't on anyone's mind. It's like, why can't Chicago be this peaceful?!
As me and my sweetheart took pics at Mount Rushmore, I couldn't help but notice and feel the ubiquitous presence of the figures on Mount Rushmore (George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln). Then I thought to myself ", it would be amazing if Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr was added to Mount Rushmore, right next to Abraham Lincoln, the man who emancipated the slaves!"

Yes, I'm aware Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., wasn't an American president; however, it's because of people like him I along with my wife was not only able to freely travel to Mount Rushmore, but also sleep and eat in non-segregated hotels.

Can you imagine how powerful the addition and sight of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on Mount Rushmore would be? Not only would plane tickets, car rentals, hotel rentals skyrocket but so would hearts and souls of those who fought so long for equality, freedom and justice. It's a win, win situation!

"...Americans' from around the country would come from far and near to see the new Mount Rushmore, so would tourists from various countries!"

America is changing for the better... Gay marriage is legal. We've elected our first African American president. In the coming years American currency is also changing:
* The $20 Bill will have Harriet Tubman on the front of it.
* The $10 Bill will have Lucretia Mott, Sojourner Truth, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Alice Paul on the back.
* The $5 Bill will have Marion Anderson, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Martin Luther King Jr.,  on the back.

The changing of our currency is another powerful statement of American exceptionalism, seeing that American currency is used all over the world. Many in various countries will see FREEDOM FIGHTERS and WOMEN'S SUFFRAGE MOVEMENT FIGHTERS on America's most prized commodity, its currency!

It's time Mount Rushmore resemble all of America! It's time for someone like Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who gave his life for the better angels of America to be added to Mount Rushmore!
