How To Lose Weight On Your Own!

As a former Sports Program Manager (Johnny's Ice House and Hoops The Gym), former Physical Education Instructor (Boys and Girls Club of Metropolitan Chicago), former Sports Coach (Chicago Park District and YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago) I have great insights and experience relative to fitness. 

I've assisted in training professional athletes as well. Most professional athletes run 2 hours a day, cardio. Losing weight is easier than most people think. Below are some serious steps to losing weight. 

It's important you understand there's really no way to target belly fat, which is where most people want to lose weight the most. The way to lose belly fat is to lose weight and burn fat throughout your entire body. As you do this, fat will also burn around your stomach area. 

Muscle weighs more than fat, but muscles burn calories faster than fat. This means that you may stand on the scale and think you've gained weight, but you will notice your clothes fit better. 

The most important workout regimen to lose weight is cardio exercises. Sure, lifting weights is great as well, but when trying to lose weight one must have a heavy cardio regimen.

Monday: 30 minutes on treadmill, 30 minutes on stair climber. 

Tuesday: 30 minutes on treadmill, 30 minutes on elliptical. 

Wednesday: 30 minutes on treadmill, 30 minutes cycling. 

Thursday: Hour on treadmill (4 miles).  

Friday: Hour on treadmill (4 miles). 

Take Saturday and Sunday off! Also add Apple Cider Vinegar to your diet, 8oz glass of water, 2 teaspoons of Apple Cider Vinegar. Drink daily. 

You can eat pretty much what you want; however, take moderation into consideration. In other words watch your calorie intake. Trust me, eating less won't kill you. 

I've gone without food and water for 3 days, fasting. Of course I'm not saying you should do the same, but fasting is a great way to assist in weight loss. 

Try intermittent fasting (Monday - Sunday) only eat between the hours of 12p - 8p. Drink plenty water before and after. If you will commit to the aforementioned, I guarantee you will lose weight and feel great.
